All faculty, staff and graduate teaching assistant (GTA) instructors are invited to “Assessment Techniques, Part 3: Time-Saving Tools” noon-1:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 16. The event is sponsored by the Center for Advancing Faculty Excellence and presented by instructional design and development (previously educational technology) and faculty.

Effective teaching strategies include providing students with timely feedback. This session will introduce you to time-saving techniques for providing timely feedback to your students, and the benefits to both the student and the instructor.

The event will include lightning rounds in which faculty will share their experience with time saving specific tools (Respondus, clickers, Turn It In and video response), with instructional developers available to answer questions about implementation.
