Hygiene items, food needed for Commuter’s Commodities Food Pantry

In addition to non-perishable food, S&T’s Commuter’s Commodities Food Pantry also accepts donations of hygiene items and household goods. Missouri S&T’s human resources department is taking pantry donations at the human resources office, Room 113 Centennial Hall, through Friday, Nov. 30.

The most needed items are:
Non-food items:

  • Can openers
  • Soap, deodorant and shampoo
  • Toothbrushes and toothpaste
  • Powdered detergent
  • Feminine products

Non-perishable food items, such as:

  • Cereal, oatmeal and granola bars
  • Crackers
  • Peanut butter
  • Jelly
  • Mashed potato flakes and rice
  • Canned soup, fruit, vegetables and meats
  • Tomato sauce
  • Ramen noodles, pasta noodles and macaroni and cheese
  • Dry beans
