With winter just around the corner, the S&T custodial landscape services encourages everyone to use extreme caution and be safe during bad weather. If a weather event is in the forecast, the Custodial and Landscape staff will take appropriate action to prepare campus walkways and parking lots for snow or ice. Remember, every weather event is different and poses unique challenges and requires different action plans.

During these weather events, general alerts regarding campus conditions will be placed in the eConnection to keep everyone informed of action taken. Unfortunately, during these weather events, areas will be slick. Hazardous areas may develop or persist even after chemical treatment or removal efforts have been made.
