Donald D. Myers Scholarship Applications Now Open!

The purpose of this scholarship is to recognize and support Missouri S&T students who have made a significant contribution to the community or campus through their service, and is awarded in honor of Donald D. Myers.

Donald D. Myers was a beloved professor at S&T for over 30 years and was deeply committed to Missouri S&T. Dr. Myers worked tirelessly to do good on our campus and in the world.

To honor him, the Donald D. Myers Scholarship was established to recognize and support Missouri S&T students who have made a significant contribution to the community or campus through their service. The scholarship is in the amount of $3,000 for the 2019-20 school year. Undergraduate and graduate students who are enrolled full time are eligible to apply. First year and new transfer students are ineligible.

Applicants are required to submit answers to several questions describing their service, leadership, impact, and commitment, and provide a letter of recommendation. Scholarship finalists must participate in a brief panel interview with the selection committee.

Applications and recommendation letters must be submitted no later than
January 24, 2019 by 6:00 p.m.
