Students can learn about business plan essentials

Missouri S&T students with entrepreneurial visions can advance their ideas and win prize money by participating in the Entrepreneur Quest (EQ) Student Accelerator, a new University of Missouri System program. Dr. Jeff Hornsby will present “Essentials of a Business Plan” 5:30-7:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 8, in Room G-2 of the Interdisciplinary Engineering Building (IDE).
Hornsby is the Henry W. Bloch and Missouri Endowed Chair of Entrepreneurship, chair and professor of the global department of entrepreneurship and innovation at the University of Missouri-Kansas City.
The EQ Student Accelerator program offers award money from $5,000 to $30,000 based on how far students go in the competition.
