All faculty and staff instructors are invited to an event sponsored by the Center for Advancing Faculty Excellence titled “Design Thinking with Laurie Myers” 12:15-1:45 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 11, in the Missouri-Ozark Room of the Havener Center. Lunch will be provided. Please register in advance.

Design thinking is a human-centered, innovative process to addressing challenges that focuses on the end user. This process is applicable to students of all disciplines, not just graphic designers or entrepreneurs. Learn the basics of design thinking and how you can incorporate it into your course through this hands-on-workshop in which you will create and prototype. Myers is an instructor of arts, languages and philosophy. She teaches design thinking to students of all disciplines.
