Dr. Jeffrey Shield will present a seminar titled “Making of the Ultimate Refrigerator Magnet: Advanced Processing of High-Energy Permanent Magnet Materials” 3:30-4:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 25, in Room 140 Toomey Hall.
Shield is the Robert W. Brightfelt Professor of Engineering and chair of mechanical and materials engineering at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
The talk is part of the MAE graduate seminar series, presented by S&T’s mechanical and aerospace engineering department and Academy of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineers.
