Brand symposium offers professional development opportunity

Missouri S&T’s third annual Brand Symposium will be held Thursday, Sept. 27, in the Havener Center. The event, “From Strategy to Story,” focuses on telling a research-based, strategy-driven approach to telling the university’s story to our many audiences.

The symposium features two marketing experts as keynote speakers:

  • Opening keynoter Jason Simon of the marketing and strategy firm SimpsonScarborough will speak on “Market Research: What it is and Why it Matters in Today’s Higher Ed Landscape.”
  • Luncheon keynoter Teresa Valerio Parrot of TVP Communications will speak on “Protecting Your Brand During Times of Crisis.”

Other speakers for the day include experts from S&T’s marketing and communications and enrollment management staff.
