These Miners are Tough Mudders

Five Missouri S&T alumni completed a 10-mile Tough Mudder course with 20 obstacles and 500,000 gallons of mud Saturday, Aug. 11, in Wright City, Missouri. The alumni who completed the course (including three S&T employees) are:

  • Lindsey Dunstedter, TComm’09, digital content and social media coordinator
  • Stephen Raper, EMgt’85, MS EMgt’87, PhD EMgt’89, associate professor of engineering management and systems engineering
  • Rob Stodulski, Psyc’97
  • Tara Stone, TComm’09, MS TComm’12, user interface and experience designer
  • Cole Thompson, Hist’15

Tough Mudder is an endurance series created to test mental and physical strength within a team. The obstacles were designed by British Special Forces to trigger common fears, such as freezing water, heights, fire and electricity.
