Staff member selected for Rubin Israel fellowship

Alan Scher Zagier, a senior strategic communications consultant working with the College of Engineering and Computing, has been named a Rubin Israel fellow by the Jewish Federation of St. Louis. The leadership program for young adults sends 10 participants annually on a 10-day trip to Jerusalem, Tel Aviv and the Yokneam-Megiddo region. The trip is slated for this October and November. The program is underwritten by philanthropists Ron and Pam Rubin, owners of The Republic of Tea company.
