The office of academic support is accepting nominations for S&T’s Faculty and Staff Experiential Learning Awards and Faculty and Staff Service Learning Awards. Faculty, staff, students, and community partners may submit nominations for these awards.

Nominations must include: signed nomination form, nominator supporting statement (limit of 2 pages), and up to three letters of support (limit 1 page each). Ignoring these instructions could result in being disqualified.

The Experiential Learning Award recognizes faculty and staff who require undergraduate students to go beyond mastering basic skills and knowledge in the application of material to problem-solving challenges. These activities involve collaborations and reflective learning and allow students to learn environments that align with their aptitudes.

The Service Learning Award recognizes faculty and staff who involve or influence undergraduate students in academic service learning or community service activities outside the classroom.

Nominations are due Monday, Oct. 1. Award recipients will be recognized at a ceremony on Tuesday, Dec. 4.
