Connie Grisier, historical administrator and interpreter, will present a lecture at 7 p.m. Friday, Aug. 3, on the second floor of the Curtis Laws Wilson Library. Her lecture is titled “The Changing Role of Women during the American Civil War.”
Grisier’s lecture is part of the library’s summer exhibition, “Impressions of the Civil War in the West,” which will run through Friday, Aug. 31.
Grisier retired as the historical administrator of Missouri’s American Indian Cultural Center at Van Meter State Park. She is currently the volunteer event coordinator for the Children’s Corner at the Henry County Museum in Clinton, Missouri.
