All faculty and staff instructors are invited to a workshop titled “Setting the Tone Through an Effective Syllabus” 9:30-11 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 16, in Room 101 Humanities and Social Sciences Building. Register online.

A clearly written syllabus is a powerful tool for communication by helping students understand your goals for their learning, and help them anticipate the steps to reach those goals. The educational technology instructional design team will present helpful resources for creating and organizing your course syllabi. Bring your class materials to construct your syllabus during the workshop.
