Passing of former student reported, funeral services planned

Missouri S&T has received notification of the death of Steven Swiney, who died on July 6. Swiney was a former S&T student from Arnold, Missouri, and a member of Phi Kappa Theta.
Visitation services will be held 5-8 p.m. Sunday, July 15, at Kutis Funeral Home, located at 5355 Lemay Ferry Road in St. Louis. The funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, July 16, at Kutis Funeral Home.
Members of Missouri S&T’s counseling services are available to assist students, faculty and staff members affected by Swiney’s death. Those who wish to take advantage of this support may contact counseling services at 204 Norwood Hall on campus, by calling 573-341-4211 or by emailing counsel@mst.edu.
