The library’s summer exhibition, “Impressions of the Civil War in the West,” continues with these upcoming presentations:

  • Florian Waitl, historian at Fort Leonard Wood Engineer School, will present “The Human Dimension of War: Lessons and Insights of Local Civil War History Taught at the U.S. Army Engineer School,” at 7 p.m. Friday, July 20, on the second floor of the Curtis Laws Wilson Library.
  • Carole Shelton, author and retired educator, will present “Their Eyes Have Seen the Glory” at 7 p.m. Friday, July 27, on the second floor of the Curtis Laws Wilson Library.
