As part of the Big Bam route (Bicycle Across Missouri), cyclists started in Waynesville this morning (Thursday, June 21) and are expected to bike through Rolla between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m., headed north up Pine Street and past S&T to U.S. 63. The Rolla Area Chamber of Commerce is holding a water stop for the riders on Kingshighway.
Approximately 400-500 cyclists are participating in the five-day ride, which follows the Historic Route 66 from Joplin to Eureka. Today is the fourth day.
