Policy updates posted online

Two policies were recently updated and are available online. They are memorandum I-10: Policy Development and III-50: Use of Facilities and Grounds.
Policy development
The procedure for developing policy was updated to align with the stated intent of the University of Missouri Board of Curators regarding delegated authority. S&T’s policy procedure now includes a policy council with 15 representatives from various organizations or departments, including Student Council, Council of Graduate Students, Staff Council and Faculty Senate.
Use of facilities and grounds
This policy memorandum includes a table of spaces with the type of space and who to contact for reserving the space. It also includes guidance on the use of university facilities for political activities, which was previous a separate policy memorandum, III-48.
