Coffey presents on veterans program at national conference

Garrett Coffey, student support specialist in S&T’s Student Veterans Resource Center, delivered a presentation at the Council of College and Military Educators (CCME) 2018 National Symposium in San Diego, California, in March. He will also deliver a presentation at the 16th annual Conference of Systems Engineering Research (CSER) in Charlottesville, VA, May 8-9. The conference proceedings and paper will be published by Springer.
Coffey’s work is supported extensively by Dr. Cihan Dagli, professor of engineering management. Coffey focuses on using a data-driven and systems engineering approach to optimize a S&T’s veterans program through the use of fuzzy logic and genetic algorithms.
