In 1944, Theodore von Karman envisioned a new Air Force through his study. The technologies identified more than 70 years ago are now reality. Submit your ideas to help Air Force Research Labs (AFRL) invent the future for 2030 and beyond.

AFRL is collecting advice that will shape its research investment choices for all topics that are beyond those items already in active development. Three Missouri S&T representatives recently attended a discussion in Lincoln, Nebraska, with approximately 250 participants from Missouri, Kansas, Iowa, Minnesota, Illinois and Nebraska.

Attendees from Missouri S&T included Dr. Bruce McMillin, associate dean for research and external relations in the College of Engineering and Computing and professor of computer science; Krystal Hull, development officer; and Steve Tupper, military education and research liaison.
