Dr. Richard W. Wlezien, vice provost and dean of the College of Engineering and Computing, will host the UM Cyber Summit from 10 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Carver-Turner Room of Havener Center. Nearly two dozen faculty researchers representing each of the four University of Missouri System campuses will share their work with our curators and system leaders, with an eye toward building cross-campus collaborations designed to compete for major new funding opportunities.
Five S&T computer science faculty will represent S&T – Drs. Sajal Das, Wei Jiang, Dan Lin, Sanjay Madria and Bruce McMillin – joined by Dr. Sahra Sedigh Sarvestani from the electrical and computer engineering department. A livestream of the event is planned for remote viewers of the summit.
