Retirement reception planned today for Matt O’Keefe

The campus community is invited to drop in and honor Dr. Matt O’Keefe at a retirement reception 2-4 p.m. Monday, April 2, at Hasselmann Alumni House.
O’Keefe joined Missouri S&T in 1999 as an associate professor of metallurgical engineering. He was named professor of materials science and engineering in 2006 and became director of the university’s Materials Research Center in 2007. He served as chair of materials science and engineering from 2016 to 2017.
