Several repair projects are underway at S&T, including repairs to Fraternity Drive, replacing sidewalks on campus and replacing the roof on the Computer Science Building.
Fraternity Drive repairs underway
Repairs to Fraternity Drive start today (Monday, April 9). Damaged asphalt and substrate will be replaced with a new concrete apron at the E Highway approach across from a commuter parking lot. The work will be completed in two sections, allowing one lane of Fraternity Drive to be accessible for traffic at all times. The work is scheduled to be completed in two weeks, weather permitting. Roofing project starts at Computer Science Building
The Computer Science Building’s roof is being replaced. Workers are beginning the project today at the building, which is located at 500 W. 15th St. You may notice workers on the roof and a crane on the sidewalk nearby. Sidewalk replacement underway
Sidewalks are being replaced in several areas on campus, including sidewalks near the Puck, Curtis Laws Wilson Library, and Toomey, Parker and Fulton halls. Weather permitting, the work will begin today and be completed within two weeks. For more information, please contact Bassett at 341-4044.
