Northcut, Brady honored during Woman of the Year luncheon

Dr. Kathryn Northcut, professor of English and technical communication, was named the 2018 Woman of the Year during an awards ceremony held today (Wednesday, April 18) at Hasselmann Alumni House.

During the ceremony, Meg Brady, senior director for global learning, was presented the Dr. Elizabeth Cummins Women’s Advocate Award. The award is named in honor of Dr. Elizabeth Cummins, professor emerita of English and technical communication and Missouri S&T’s first Woman of the Year.

The awards are funded by Missouri S&T graduate Cynthia Tang, founder and former chair of InSight Industries Inc.
