Today’s open house to showcase military internship program

Staff and faculty are invited to drop by and learn about the Transitioning Military Career Skills Program Internship at Missouri S&T during an open house 3-5:30 p.m. Monday, April 16, in St. Pat’s Ballroom C of the Havener Center. David Huling, S&T’s first intern in the military transitioning program, will be available to chat about his experiences and his internship in S&T’s construction design department.
The military program provides employers with interns who are completing their military service while giving soldiers opportunities to prepare for civilian employment. The S&T open house will include brief remarks at the beginning of the reception, followed by time for conversation and refreshments. Individuals may come and go as their schedules allow.
