FYRE research showcase is May 3

Eighteen first-year College of Arts, Sciences, and Business (CASB) students will display their research posters at the first-ever First Year Research Experience (FYRE) Research Showcase 8-10 a.m. Thursday, May 3, in the Havener Center atrium. CASB pairs faculty mentors with first-year students to create a FYRE that teaches new students the fundamentals of original research and prepares them for more extensive research opportunities. All members of the campus community are welcome to attend this showcase and see what these first-year students have accomplished this semester.
