At the early career faculty forum at 4-5 p.m. Wednesday, April 18, attendees can learn about balancing service with faculty responsibilities and learn about the University of Missouri Faculty Scholars program.

Engagement with the service mission of the university may look different for individuals at different stages of their careers. Join Dr. Larry Gragg and Dr. Wayne Huebner with the Center for Advancing Faculty Excellence (CAFE) to discuss how to balance the service mission among many other responsibilities, and how to find service opportunities that make sense for you.

Dr. Kelvin Erickson and Dr. Melanie Mormile will speak about the University of Missouri Faculty Scholars program. Offered through the UM System in collaboration with the four campuses, this program is designed to support faculty in their scholarly work, in learning new teaching strategies, and with a focus on adjustment and building relationships.
