CIES seminar is April 27

The Center for Infrastructure Engineering Studies (CIES) will host a research seminar at 2:30 p.m. Friday, April 27, in Room 121 Butler-Carlton Civil Engineering Hall. Dr. Miguel A. Vicente, an associate professor at the University of Burgos in Spain, will present “Building Bridges Between Engineers.”
During the last 20 years, Vicente has collaborated with several engineers from other disciplines, including aeronautics and mechanics. The seminar will show some of the most interesting projects undertaken and how civil engineers can learn about the know-how of other engineering disciplines and vice versa. Bagels and coffee will be provided. All faculty and students are invited to attend.
