Aerospace engineering students win grant funding for satellite

Three Missouri S&T Ph.D. students in aerospace engineering won the Educational Alliance Program’s University Grant Program, receiving $1,000 in funding. Jill Davis, Pavel Galchenko and Donna Jennings won first place with their project, “Verification and Validation of Student-Designed Guidance, Navigation and Control Algorithms.”

The funding will go to the team’s research for the Missouri-Rolla Satellite and Missouri-Rolla Second Satellite (MR. and MRS. SAT) mission. Read more.
