More than 50 legislators joined faculty, staff and students from all four University of Missouri System campuses, extension and the health system to learn about UM System’s impact on Missouri and global communities during the system’s legislative showcase Feb. 28 in Jefferson City. The public officials were asked to share with their constituents the system’s important work that serves all 144 counties in Missouri.

Of the 18 booths at the showcase, Missouri S&T representatives staffed four booths, sharing information on S&T’s INSPIRE University Transportation Center, partnerships with Mo-Sci, Project Lead The Way and Student Veterans Resource Center. Read more about the showcase.
