The Armed Services Blood Program will host a blood drive 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 27, in Room 302 Harris Hall. It is open to everyone age 17 and older, both military and civilian. Blood collected at this drive will go to medical facilities in Afghanistan and other overseas contingency areas, as well as military hospitals throughout the Department of Defense.
The Armed Services Blood Program is the official blood collection agency for the Department of Defense. The Fort Leonard Wood Blood Donor Center is one of 22 facilities around the world that collects blood for the ASBP.
All donors will receive a free ASBP T-shirt. To donate, please bring with you a photo ID and a list of any countries you have traveled to and the amount of time you spent there.
