Missouri S&T’s career opportunities and employer relations (COER) staff will partner with JC Penney for “Suit Up” at 6:30-9:30 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 11, at the JC Penney store in Rolla. The exclusive event is for Missouri S&T students only. Students will be able to receive 40 percent discounts (student IDs are required) on professional attire and enter to win prizes. Missouri S&T’s Spring Career Fair will be held Tuesday, Feb. 20, on campus.

During the event, students can shop for professional attire and accessories to build an interview-ready wardrobe. COER staff will be available to offer insights into career fashion trends, how a suit should fit, selecting sizes and how to tie a tie. Makeup consultants and hair stylists will also be available for consultations.

There will also be a shuttle available to help transport students from campus to JCPenney. Shuttle times and locations are as follows:

Miner Village Club House Parking Lot (By Mailboxes): 6:15pm, 6:40pm, 7:05pm, 7:30pm, 7:55pm, 8:20pm, 8:45pm

Havener Center(Parking Lot Near Main Entrance): 6:20pm, 6:45pm, 7:10pm, 7:35pm, 8:00pm, 8:25pm, 8:50pm

JCPenney (Main Entrance): 6:30pm, 6:55pm, 7:20pm, 7:45pm, 8:10pm, 8:35pm, 9:35pm

*All times are subject to delay due to traffic. The last shuttle will leave JCPenney at 9:35pm and make a final drop off at Miner Village and the Havener Center. Students will need to be outside or able to watch for the 14 passenger shuttle van’s arrival.
