Wearing a seatbelt and not using a mobile device while driving are two simple actions that could save your life. According to MoDOT, 947 people were killed in Missouri traffic crashes in 2016, with 62 percent of victims not wearing seatbelts. The risk of being involved in a critical incident is 23 times higher when texting while driving.
