Do you use active learning methods that you would like to share? All faculty and staff instructors are invited to participate in an active learning video competition for Missouri S&T’s Teaching and Learning Technology (TLT) Conference. The deadline for video submissions is Wednesday, March 7, to Victoria Hangi, instructional developer, at hagniv@mst.edu.

Showcase your active learning strategy by making a video. The top three videos will be shown at the conference on Thursday, March 15. Winners will receive a gift card and certificate. To participate, create a two-three minute video with a(n):

1. Introduction: name, department, specific class
2. Description of the active learning strategy you implemented
3. The benefits you’ve seen in the classroom
4. Any additional information you would like to share
