Graduating in May? Apply to speak at commencement

If you are an undergraduate senior and will graduate this semester, you can apply for the chance to address your peers during your commencement ceremony on Saturday, May 12. Student speakers will be selected through an application and live audition process. To be considered as a finalist for a live audition, apply at provost.mst.edu/spring2018undergraduatespeaker by Monday, Feb. 26. Application materials include: a four-minute speech (up to 420 words), resume and online application. Selected individuals must formally accept the role in writing by 4:30 p.m. Monday, April 2. One student from each college for each ceremony will be selected for this opportunity, for a total of four student commencement speakers.
