Faculty and graduate students are invited to a presentation titled “A Primer About Publishing Technical Papers in International Journals: Sharing an Editor’s Experience,” by Dr. Ted Stathopoulos. The presentation will be held 1-2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 16, in Room 120 Butler-Carlton Civil Engineering Hall. Lunch will be provided. RSVP to cafe@mst.edu.

Stathopoulos is a professor of civil and environmental engineering at Concordia University in Montreal, and editor of the Journal of Wind Engineering and Industrial Aerodynamics. During his presentation, he will take the audience through the publication process from submission to the final disposition stage, from the editor’s viewpoint. Tips will be provided to make authors more successful in publishing their research.
