Gargus honored for peer education work

Jessica Gargus, manager of Miner Wellness, received the 2017 BACCHUS Initiatives of NASPA Outstanding Advisor award from the NASPA-Student Affairs Professionals in Higher Education. Gargus was presented the award in November at the organization’s annual awards banquet.
The award goes to top undergraduate peer educators for addressing the health and safety issues on college and university campuses. Gargus received the award for her contributions to campus peer education efforts and exemplary leadership.
