Havener Center gets new carpet

Havener Center’s carpeting is being replaced. While much of the work was completed during winter break, the project will extend into the first week of classes, Jan. 16-19. During this time, access to the building’s second-floor atrium, Silver and Gold Room, quiet lounge, and the front entrance of the Student Involvement and Leadership Center may be temporarily limited. Signs will be displayed to direct visitors. If the grand staircase is blocked, individuals may access Havener Center’s second floor via elevators and alternate stairwells.
Meeting organizers for any meetings that were moved as a result of the carpeting project were contacted by the Havener Center reservations staff. The staff apologizes for any inconvenience caused by this project.
