The Curtis Laws Wilson Library along with the Missouri S&T ACM, I-Corps, COER, and the Computer Science department are proud to announce ShamHacks, Missouri S&T’s first Major League of Hacking weekend-long event. ShamHacks is a 36-hour long Hackathon and will take place from Friday, February 9 to Sunday, February 11, 2018 at the Havener Center.

ShamHacks is open to students of all backgrounds with a passion for technology, design, and innovation. Students will work in teams to build and code projects, or hacks, to solve a real-world problem. This year’s hacking theme revolves around helping that of our U.S. active-duty and veteran community.

At the end of the weekend, students will present their projects to a panel of judges consisting of our corporate sponsors, nonprofit partners, and Missouri S&T faculty and staff. The winning teams will collectively receive over thousands of dollars in prizes.

ShamHacks will be a weekend jam-packed with workshops, mentors, food, swag, and plenty of coffee and energy drinks to help guide you along the way.
