Petra deWitt to speak on Missouri’s role in WWI

Dr. Petra deWitt, assistant professor of history and political science, will present “Courage, Duty, Patriotism: The Missouri Home Guard during the Great War” at 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 16, at Mineral Area College’s C.H. Cozean Library in Park Hills, Missouri.
Her presentation is part of a traveling exhibit from the Missouri Humanities Council. The exhibit explores the history of World War I through the perspective of Missouri and Missourians, based on the online digital archive missourioverthere.org.
