Dr. Daniel B. Oerther, professor of environmental health engineering, has been named an associate editor of the journal of Water Environment Research (WER). Published monthly by the Water Environment Federation, the WER journal includes peer-reviewed research papers, research notes and critical reviews.
“I was thrilled to be invited to return to the post of associate editor,” Oerther says. “I recall fondly my prior tenure as associate editor from 2004 through 2008. Water Environment Research is a leading journal in environmental engineering and the industry of wastewater, water and water reuse, and it is an honor to help steer the editorial vision.”
Founded as the Sewage Works Journal, WER has been published continuously since 1928. WER’s readership includes approximately 15,000 members of the federation in more than 30 countries.
