Two books signed by William Shatner have been put up for auction on Ebay. Proceeds from the auction have been pledged to Leach Theatre.

William Shatner became a cultural icon for his portrayal of James T. Kirk, captain of the USS Enterprise in the original Star Trek series. Shatner performed his Broadway show Shatner’s World in October at Leach Theatre. After the performance he signed two Star Trek books. He is the author of Star Trek Movie Memories. Shatner shares his reminiscences about the making of Star Trek, the history of the show as a cultural phenomenon, and behind-the-scenes antics that took place on the set.

The second book singed by William Shatner is the Star Trek Star Fleet Technical Manual. A must have for all Trekkies, with everything you’ll ever want to know about day-to-day life on the Enterprise. It is rare to find this book signed by the Captain of the Enterprise!
