Dr. John Hudzik will present a lecture titled “The Imperative to Internationalize the University: From Rhetoric to Action and Action to Results” at 3 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 14, in St. Pat’s C of the Havener Center. Missouri S&T’s Internationalization Committee is hosting the event in conjunction with International Education Week, which is observed Nov. 13-17.
Hudzik, a professor of criminal justice, has served as dean of international studies and programs at Michigan State University in East Lansing and then vice president for global engagement and strategic projects at MSU. He is also past president and chair of the Board of Directors of NAFSA: Association of International Educators and past president of the Association of International Education Administrators.
Hudzik is frequently an invited commentator and speaker at national and international conferences on the direction of global higher education and often publishes on these topics.
