Watch Missouri S&T engineering management graduate and commencement speaker Dajae Williams rap about the quadratic formula. Williams plans to use music to teach students math concepts and get more minorities into the STEM field after she heads to California to work for NASA.

Dajae Williams, a senior in engineering management from St. Louis, raps about the quadratic equation in a new video. After graduating from Missouri S&T in December, Williams will work as a manufacturing engineer at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Lab in Pasadena, California. She also wants to use her passion for hip hop to encourage other minority students to pursue degrees in science, technology, engineering or math. Watch the video.

It includes cameo appearances by several S&T students as well as Dr. Steve Corns, associate professor of engineering management and systems engineering.
