The mechanical and aerospace engineering department and the Academy of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineers will host a presentation by Dr. Brandon Runnels 2-3 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 19, in Room 199 Toomey Hall.
Runnels is an assistant professor of mechanical and aerospace engineering at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs. His presentation is titled “How Grain Boundaries Drive Material Behavior: From Analytic Modeling to Microstructure Evolution.” Refreshments will be served.
