Lt. Oscar Kemp, in partnership with S&T’s Sigma Tau Gamma fraternity, will host a “Cops and Miners” paintball tournament Saturday, Nov. 4, at Paintball Preserve to raise money for Special Olympics Missouri. Paintball Preserve is located at 12285 County Road 5280 in Rolla. The event will be limited to 25 teams of five in a two-game elimination tournament against the public safety community.

Participants will receive liability waiver forms the day of the tournament. Team members must sign a waiver form to be able to participate. The registration fee is $100 per team, payable by cash or check. Make checks payable to Paintball Preserve. All proceeds after expenses will be donated to Special Olympic Missouri. Teams will also need to wear a common color of clothes that can get dirty and painted. Lawn chairs are recommended. All goggles, paintball guns, canisters, hoppers and paintballs will be provided. Food and drink will be available for purchase.
