The Center for Infrastructure Engineering Studies (CIES) will host a research seminar for faculty and students at 4-5 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 10, in Room 121 of Butler-Carlton Civil Engineering Hall. Bagels and coffee will be provided. Presentations will include:
- “Multi-Scale Mechanics and Multi-Physics of Solids: Experimental, Metrology and Modeling” by Dr. Chenglin Wu, assistant professor of civil, architectural and environmental engineering
- “Effect of Carbon Fiber Graded Distribution on the Electro-Thermal Property of Cement-Based Materials” by Dr. Ran Hai, visiting scholar at Missouri S&T from Zhongyuan University of Technology in China
