Today is application deadline for student commencement speakers

The Commencement Student Speaker Committee will select two students, one from each college, to speak at each of the commencement ceremonies on Dec. 16. The application deadline is today (Monday, Oct. 9). To be considered as a finalist for a live audition, students must apply at stuaff.mst.edu/speaker and provide a copy of their proposed speech and resume.
The selected students will be asked to formally accept the charge in writing by Nov. 6. The committee will select two students, one from each college, to speak at each of the commencement ceremonies on Dec. 16.
