Reminder: Welcome reception planned tomorrow for CEC dean

Dr. Robert Marley, provost and executive vice chancellor for academic affairs, invites the campus community to a reception to welcome Dr. Richard Wlezien as vice provost and dean of the College of Engineering and Computing. The reception will be held 2:30-4 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 12, in the Carver-Turner Room of the Havener Center. Wlezien began his duties on Aug. 1.
Wlezien joins S&T from Iowa State University, where he served as the Vance and Arlene Coffman Endowed Department Chair in Aerospace Engineering. He is a former researcher and program director at NASA and the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA). Read more.
