Training for campus building coordinators coming this fall

In November, University Police will provide training for Missouri S&T’s campus building coordinators. Coordinators will learn about the responsibilities of campus building coordinators, incident response, emergency procedures and resources on campus, and discuss possible scenarios. If you are interested in becoming a building coordinator or assisting a coordinator, please contact Doug Roberts, police chief, at 341-4300, or robertsdp@mst.edu.

At each building on campus, an employee serves as a coordinator to help ensure safety in the case of an emergency, such as a building fire. The coordinator is the go-to person for the police to contact and he or she communicates urgent messages to the faculty, staff and students within the building.
