For the fifth consecutive year, Missouri S&T’s student financial assistance office has received the Missouri Department of Higher Education’s $25,000 Default Prevention Grant. Bridgette Betz, director of student financial assistance, drafted and submitted the proposal. Tyler Johnson, manager of student financial assistance, will manage the grant funding for the 2017-18 aid year.
This grant funds the Miner Money Management Financial Literacy program and the department’s default prevention initiatives. It assists the student financial assistance department in providing a better experience and service for students.
